Milan came from 2-0 down to beat bitter rivals Inter in Saudi Arabia on Monday night, with winger Leao providing the crucial assist for Tammy Abraham's winner. After the victory, Portugal international Leao posted a photo of former Lakers star Bryant – who died in a helicopter crash in January 2020 – on social media and stressed the Rossoneri were "calm under pressure".

Alongside two photos of him celebrating Milan's victory, he posted a picture of the late Bryant, with the words: "Calm under pressure." He also captioned the tweet on X with the words: "MILANO È ROSSONERA ❤️🖤", (Milan is red and black).

Sergio Conceicao only took over as AC Milan's new head coach last week but already he has led them to two comeback wins over Inter and Juventus and delivered them some silverware. It is very early days but this may be the start of something special for Christian Pulisic and his Milan team-mates.
